![]() "Memories light the corners of my mind; Misty watercolour memories of the way we were." Our lives, our todays, are coloured by our memories. And how treasured those memories are- the look of triumph as a toddler takes their first step, the joy in the eyes of a newly married couple, a child's surprise and delight of a fireworks display. Home fire victims often relate how they rushed to grab photos and albums before fleeing their burning homes, for those items hold the greatest value. But how often do you take the time to open those photo albums? How frequently do you sort through those special moments stored on disk or on your computer/ cloud storage? PicStick have a great solution.... beautiful photographic magnets of your special memories to display proudly on your refrigerator or magnetic memo board. How can you best display these memories? I eagerly awaited the arrival of my first set of 9 photos. And yes, they're lovely. The couple of grey-scale images I included look as beautiful as the full-colour photos. They look so good, I wanted to display them so they would instantly grab attention. So I designed a framed display board. You can find the instructions below, as well as more information about ordering your own photo magnets,,, PLUS, there's a special discount to use for your own order. See below. ![]() Ordering your set of photo magnets from Pic Stick You'll find that ordering couldn't be any easier. So you should have them within 2 weeks. Creating a framed display board If you'd like to create your own display board, I've included the instructions below. I've also included a downloadable file to print and use in your design. You'll find it below. And.. if you wanted to use the printed design on a magnetic strip bulletin board, you'll find that on the downloadable file, too. I found a picture frame for three (6x4) photos. Remove the cardboard mounting sheet and cut out the white vertical dividers to create one large rectangle. Remove the glass from the frame. Print the downloadable file; the A3 version, if possible. It requires fewer joins. Cut out. Cut a piece of cardboard the same size as the mounting board. Firmly glue a metal ruler down the centre of the card. This provides the metal surface to which your photo magnets will adhere. Arrange the printed strips on the cardboard covering the ruler. Check the positioning by resting the mounting board on top. When you're happy with the positions of the printed strips, glue them in position using stick glue. Slip this and the mounting board back inside the frame and reattach the backing board. I found some small white drawer knobs and attached them to the base of the frame. Now, you can hang the framed display board with pride. Replace your photo magnets regularly for variety and to refresh your memories of those special moments.
